ACCOUNT / SUBSCRIPTION

Account & subscriptions

Check your account and configuration first, then troubleshoot device transfers and subscription updates.

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password, and save both in a trusted password manager. Make sure you remember your account username, not a route name shown in the client. After signing in to the user panel, check your account status, plan and subscription options. Since the account is not tied to an email address, email recovery should not be your default recovery method. If you have trouble signing in, check your keyboard input, capitalization and the site saved in your password manager. Keep your password and subscription link secure.

Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I refresh the route list?

Sign in to the user panel and open the subscription section to find your current subscription details. Then use your client’s subscription import feature to add them. To refresh an imported subscription, look for the update option in the client’s subscription manager or configuration list; the menu name varies by client. Once updated, make sure the refreshed configuration is active, then select a route again. If the old content still appears, check the subscription status and link in the panel. Avoid adding the same configuration repeatedly, and never post your full subscription link in a public forum.

Do I need to buy another plan when I switch devices?

There is no limit on the number of devices that can be online at the same time, and switching devices does not require another purchase. Sign in on the new device, follow the instructions for its platform to get the client and import your subscription, then check that the connection works. Unlimited devices does not mean unlimited data, so check your plan’s remaining data and status before use. If you are giving away an old device or no longer using it, sign out and remove the subscription configuration so your details are not left on the device. Rather than sharing your subscription link publicly, get it directly from your user panel so you can verify it.

Which platforms are supported, and how do I download a client?

Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux are supported. Client downloads are available in the user panel, and you must sign in to access your subscription. For platforms other than iOS, sign in to download the client. On iOS, the download option depends on the active plan shown in the panel. In the download section, check your device’s operating system and follow the instructions for that platform; installation steps for another system may not apply. Being able to download a client does not mean your subscription is ready to connect. After installing, check your plan, imported subscription and active configuration.

Can I send my subscription link to support for troubleshooting?

Your subscription link contains account access credentials and should be treated as sensitive information. When submitting a support ticket, provide your operating system, client, selected route, exact error message and steps you have already tried. Before sharing a screenshot, hide the full subscription URL, your password and any other sensitive account details. If a subscription update fails, say whether it failed during copying, importing or refreshing; you do not need to paste the full link. If you think the link has been exposed, check the panel for a reset option. After resetting it, update your devices so they no longer use the old configuration.

CONNECTION / DIAGNOSIS

Connections & troubleshooting

Narrow down the cause by checking your local network, client settings and target app in that order.

It says connected, but webpages still won’t load. Where should I start?

First disconnect the proxy and check that your local network works on its own. Reconnect, then check the selected route and configuration. A connected status only indicates that the connection state changed; it does not mean every app is using the proxy as expected. Next, check that the system proxy or the client’s connection permissions are enabled, and make sure no other proxy tools are running at the same time. If only one site fails, test another service for comparison. If nothing loads, try a different route. Change one setting at a time and note the result to help identify whether the issue is with your local network, configuration or the destination service.

Why does my browser work, but a particular app won’t use the proxy?

Browsers and apps may use different network request methods, or app-specific proxy rules may send them down different paths. Check whether the app is on a direct-connection or exclusion list, then confirm that the client’s current mode supports how the app connects. Some apps do not use the system proxy, so changing your browser’s proxy settings alone may not cover their requests. Save your current settings before making changes. Follow the client’s instructions to check its connection mode and system permissions, then fully quit and reopen the app. If it still cannot connect, note in your support ticket whether the issue occurs at sign-in, while loading content or during playback.

Subscription import failed. How can I tell whether the link or client is the problem?

Return to the user panel and copy the full content provided in the subscription section. Check that no spaces, line breaks or explanatory text were added while copying. Then confirm that your client supports the configuration format provided there; do not import a regular webpage URL as a subscription link. If a manual refresh also fails, note the exact error and check your local network, account status and system time. Avoid creating multiple configurations with the same name while retrying, as this can make it harder to select the right one. If the problem persists, include the client name and import method in a support ticket, and hide your subscription credentials in any screenshots.

How do I reconnect after my device sleeps or I switch networks?

After waking from sleep or switching networks, the previous connection may have stopped working even if the client interface has not updated yet. Make sure the new network is connected, then disconnect and reconnect to the selected route. On mobile devices, check whether the system restricts the client’s background activity and whether its connection permissions are still enabled. Do not repeatedly refresh your subscription before your local network is back online; refreshing a subscription and reconnecting are separate actions. If the issue occurs only on a particular network, note the circumstances and error message for troubleshooting.

When should I submit a support ticket, and what information should I include?

Submit a support ticket through the user panel if you can reproduce the issue or have completed basic checks without resolving it. Include your device’s operating system, client, network environment, route name, destination service and exact error message, along with what you did before and after the issue occurred. For example, “I can’t connect after switching networks” is more useful than “it doesn’t work.” For payment issues, include the relevant order details from the panel and hide sensitive information. For subscription issues, never share the full link. Keep the issue description and troubleshooting history together, and avoid submitting duplicate tickets for the same problem.

ROUTES / PLAYBACK

Speed & routes

Compare routes by how they perform with your target service; route names and region labels are just a starting point.

Video buffers at peak hours. Should I switch routes or change plans first?

Check your route and local network first, then consider whether your plan’s data allowance fits your usage. Buffering at peak hours can be caused by Wi-Fi interference, local network congestion, route changes or the streaming platform itself; it does not automatically mean you need a more expensive plan. Pause large downloads or other data-heavy tasks on your devices, compare routes with the same video and quality settings, and check that the client is using the expected configuration. If the problem keeps happening with a particular region or platform, note the route, time and playback behavior in a support ticket. There is no need to upgrade your plan as a first step.

How should I choose between IEPL, relayed and direct routes?

These terms describe different ways a connection is routed, not a fixed ranking of performance in every environment. IEPL uses a dedicated link path, relayed routes connect through intermediate nodes, and direct routes use a more direct access path. Your experience still depends on your local network, destination region and target service. First choose the region you need, then compare connection reliability and consistency for the same destination. A route label is not a guarantee of consistent speed, and geographic distance alone is not enough to judge performance. For more on how these options work and when to use them, see the route selection guide.

Which regions are available, and how do I choose one for a streaming library?

LQVPN covers 120+ countries with 210+ routes. Filter routes by the region required by your target service, then choose one that connects successfully. Japan, Singapore, the United States, Hong Kong and the Netherlands are examples; see the current route list in the panel for the full selection. Streaming libraries can depend on your account region, licensing and platform rules, so changing your exit region does not guarantee access to a particular title. Reopen the platform after switching and check its catalog and playback. Platform labels on routes are not a guarantee of ongoing availability.

Webpages load quickly, but videos buffer. Is it the same issue?

Not necessarily. Webpage loading and uninterrupted video playback place different demands on a network. A page opening successfully does not guarantee a stable connection for continuous streaming. First check whether the problem affects only one title or platform, then see whether lowering playback quality helps. For a useful comparison, keep the device, local network and video the same and change only the selected route. This avoids changing several variables at once. Also check whether other apps are downloading or syncing files. Do not judge playback quality by the client’s connection indicator alone; actual playback is a better measure.

Can quantum encryption solve every access or account security issue?

Quantum encryption is LQVPN’s security messaging, not a comprehensive guarantee of access to target websites or of account and device security. A route connection, a platform’s account rules, content licensing and device status are separate matters, so check them individually if you have trouble signing in. Keep your password and subscription credentials secure, check website addresses carefully, and keep your operating system and client up to date. Encryption is no reason to share sensitive information publicly or repeatedly retry a failed sign-in by switching routes. Identify the source of the error before choosing how to address it.

BILLING / REFUNDS

Billing & refunds

Monthly plans and data packs are billed differently. Check payments, upgrades and refunds against the relevant order in your panel.

How much does a monthly plan cost, and when does the data reset?

Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Choose based on whether you mainly browse, use online tools or stream video for extended periods, then compare your actual usage in the panel. Monthly plans are not unlimited, and data does not necessarily reset on the first day of each calendar month. Check your account panel and order details for the current billing period, remaining data and upgrade outcome. See the plans page for billing details before making changes.

What’s the difference between a data pack and a monthly plan?

Data packs cost ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB and ¥658 for 3000GB. They do not expire and remain available until used. Monthly plans reset data each month on the activation date, so the two options suit different usage patterns. If you use the service regularly, choose a monthly plan based on your typical monthly usage. If your usage is occasional or unpredictable, a pay-as-you-use data pack may be a better fit. “Never expires” describes the data pack’s validity; it does not mean you can keep using it after the data is used up. Before switching billing options, check your current plan and available choices in the panel rather than assuming how remaining benefits will be combined.

Which payment methods are supported, and what if my plan status doesn’t change after payment?

Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT are supported. Start the payment process from the order flow in your user panel, and check the amount, order details and on-screen instructions. Once you have paid, return to the panel to check the order and plan status; closing the payment page alone does not confirm activation. If your payment record and order status do not match, keep the relevant order details and proof of payment, then explain the issue in a support ticket. Hide any sensitive details that are not needed for troubleshooting in screenshots. Do not pay again until the status is confirmed, and never send payment to an unverified recipient. Handle payment questions through the corresponding order in the panel.

How do I request a refund, and what information do I need?

LQVPN offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel and submit a support ticket with your request and the relevant order details. See the Terms of Service for applicable conditions. You do not need to complete technical troubleshooting before requesting a refund. If you also want help resolving an issue, include your device, route and error details separately. Before submitting, check which order the request applies to rather than sending a payment screenshot without matching order information. Follow-up communication takes place in the ticket; no additional processing time or refund conditions beyond the stated facts are promised here.

Planning to upgrade? How can I avoid confusion about the price difference and remaining data?

When you upgrade a monthly plan mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Before upgrading, check your current plan, billing period and remaining data, then review the target plan and order details shown in the panel. Do not assume the price difference is a fixed top-up or that your existing data will be added to the new allowance. If the order details differ from what you expected, stop before making another payment and submit a support ticket with your current and target plan details. Monthly plans and data packs are billed differently. When switching between them, follow the information shown in the panel rather than applying rules from another service.
